That is why I avoid using leverage. I like scalping. The gains are small but I dont blow my account when major price drops happen. Instead I scalp on the way down which helps reduce my loss and gain more of that particular coin. Then whatever I am left at the bottom, I cash out when things start to move back up. When volatility starts to drop in a few years I may use leverage, but certainly not now. If things continue to drop, I rinse and repeat. Of course I dont touch shitcoins. I use things like ADA/Eth so there will be a recovery at some point....That is good Bitboy you are still doing well on your leverage trades...

I honestly don't know how to setup a proper stop loss. I've lost, not alot but considerable, amount of shares by putting one in then a HUGE whale will sell and it will drop almost 20-30 pts - triggering my stop loss - and then IMMEDIATELY bounce back up. I've caught 2 of them almost right as it happened, but I'm just not sure how to properly configure a stop loss against super dramatic drops like that.
